One of our family members here at Rathside is about to take on an ambitious challenge to raise funds for all our residents who are living with dementia.

Mike’s Mum has been a resident for the past year, and worried about the isolating effect that Coronavirus is having in limiting residents’ ability to see their families, he’s determined to raise funds to provide additional specialist physical and electronic equipment to enhance the wellbeing of all Rathside’s residents.

Taking on the challenge of a tandem sky dive on Sunday 13th September Mike hopes to raise £1000 and, leaving himself only a few short weeks before his big challenge, he has set up a Just Giving crowdfunding page to encourage people to support his efforts.
